Rovinj
Rovinj proudly holds the title of one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia. It is located on the western side of the Istrian peninsula, and extends north of the Lim Channel and south to Bale. It is adorned with a distinctly indented archipelago with as many as 14 islets and 6 cliffs. The most famous islands are St. Andrew (Red Island) and St. Catherine near the old town. Rovinj is one of the most famous tourist centers in Croatia. Zlatni rt Forest Park, located in the southern part of the city, will also enchant you. Walking, running, cycling and swimming in the hundred-year-old protected park are unique experiences to remember. Of the historical sights, be sure not to miss a walk through the old town and a visit to the large and imposing church; erected in Rovinj, the Church of St. Euphemia. Grisia open-air exhibition Grisia Grisia - certainly the most famous open-air exhibition in Croatia as well as the most recognizable Rovinj cultural event. North of Rovinj, twenty minutes by car is one of the most beautiful natural resources of the Istrian peninsula - the Lim Bay, or as some call it, the Lim Channel or Lim Fjord. Lim Bay has the status of a protected landscape, and it is not allowed to ride motor boats, fishing and diving.
