Novigrad

In the past Novigrad was known as a fishing town, in the 70s of the last century the town turned sharply to tourism, which today, along with fishing, agriculture, viticulture and olive growing, is the most important industry. The center of Novigrad's life in the past was the city port, the popular Mandrač; it still gives Novigrad a unique Mediterranean charm with its appearance. The historic core of the city was completely surrounded by walls that are still one of the symbols of the city.
