Medulin is a village and municipality in the Istria County, located in the south of the Istrian peninsula, 8 kilometers southeast of Pula. The interesting thing about Medulin is that it is one of the most important tourist destinations in Istria with a rich fishing tradition. The municipality of Medulin also includes the settlements of Banjole, Vintijan, Pješčana Uvala, Pomer, Vinkuran, Premantura and Valbonaša. Medulin Bay is especially famous with 11 uninhabited islands with untouched nature and beaches with pine forests ideal for families with small children. Medulin and its surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times. The well-preserved remains of these civilizations are a constant target of curious tourists in search of new knowledge and insights. This city has subordinated everything to tourism and provides a dynamic and eventful vacation. Medulin is also known for its historical sights, valuable archeological finds and sacral monuments, as well as for its characteristic authentic sites. The entire area of ​​the municipality represents an exceptional, significantly preserved environmental value. One of the historical sights is the parish church of Sv. Agnes which is a characteristic motif with its two bell towers 33 meters high. Near the tourist bustle, in the heart of Medulin, is the Vižula peninsula, a place of tranquility and a rich millennial past. A new multimedia archeological park has been arranged there as part of the "Vižula Archaeological Park" project. The adrenaline park Medulin is also interesting, located in the area of ​​oak forest and meadow and covers an area of ​​12,000 m2.
